Technical Report: Full endoscopic Trans-Kambin lumbar interbody fusion
Published 2025
Endoscopic spine surgery has gained prominence as a minimally invasive alternative to traditional open procedures [1,2], especially in the forum of endoscopic lumbar interbody fusion [3]. Despite endoscopic lumbar fusion techniques being described as early as 1996 [4], the steep learning curve of endoscopic spine procedures have prevented it from becoming mainstream [[5], [6], [7]]. Two common techniques are used in endoscopic assisted lumbar interbody fusion (Fig. 1), the Interlaminar fusion and the Trans-Kambin Fusion (KLIF).
